just a lil note!

Hanga (japanese woodblock printing) is fun! Had our names carved and will be doing the printing next week... for our final assessment, it is going to based on our `piece of artwork`, our masterpiece! Hasegawa sensei was kind enough to help us get started... outline first, which tool to use when carving straight lines, curved lines and stuff...

Well, it is almost 5pm now... getting dark real soon... guess it is time to go `home`... Will be going on an excursion to the Kojima Press Corp at Toyota-shi this Thursday... will be visiting junior high schools, kindergarten, the press` printing factory... i guess it will take the whole day lah! Of ya, just in case you`re wondering why dont I have classes on thursday, it`s a national holiday, the 1st day of autumn... it is still kinda hot for autumn here! 30 degrees! Gotta participate in the Kojima`s annual sports day on the 3rd too! It is a must for us `inhabitants` of kojima international residence... gotta write reports after every single excursion and activity! That`s the catchy part here! The 3rd falls on a sunday... not sure whether i can make it for church... well, they have the tagalog service in the evening though... arghh...
